Day to day

I have actually felt pretty good the last 2 days! It has been a rough last week though. Adelyn and I were BOTH throwing up...a lot. Poor baby. And to make it worse, I was home alone with Adelyn...so it was a hard situation. I couldn't stop throwing up long enough to clean up her puke or to comfort her. She seems to be feeling better today though. Her birthday is coming up. Feb. 16. I can't believe she is going to be ONE already! Time has flown by. We are throwing her a little princess party. She now needs to switch to a forward facing car seat...so unfortunately, as boring a present as that is, that's what we are going to have to get her. :( She is learning so much every day. She is a sponge. Last night she pointed to my eye and I said "eye, that's mommy's eye" and that was it. This morning when I took her out of her crib the first thing she did was point to my eye and said "eye". She even said it in the same tone as I say it in. She is a wonderful, happy, easy going (most of the time), and fun loving little girl. I feel so lucky to be her mother.
