Our new addition

It's a boy! :) We are so excited to welcome Adric Vance Tait into our family. He is WONDERFUL! Everything about his delivery was perfect. (EXACT OPPOSITE of Adelyn's) I went into the hospital on Wed. morning to get induced at about 8 am. At 9am Joe (a.k.a. Dr. Watson) came in to get everything started. He checked me and I was already at 6 cm on my own- so he broke my water and I kicked into contractions right away with out having to get induce-at about 10 am I was about 8cm and having VERY strong contractions and that's when I got the epidural (which WORKED this time!!!) and it was AMAZING! One hour later I was dilated to a 10 and began to push. I pushed for about 15-20 minutes and then gave birth to a 9 lbs 10 oz- 19 1/2 in. baby boy. The delivery was a PIECE OF CAKE! Everything happened so fast and ran so smoothly. All in all, from start to finish, I was really only in labor for 2 1/2 hours! Thank you SOOO-O much to my WONDERFUL doctor (I love you Joe!) and Thank you to Lane for doing a heck of a job on my epidural. The whole experience was absolutely beautiful. I really couldn't have asked for more. Our little boy is awesome- I am already so taken by him. Adelyn isn't quite sure how to respond to him yet- but she is doing pretty well. I love all of my family very much. Thank you for all your love and support.
